This is a list of LGBT and LGBT-friendly fraternities and sororities.
Organizations for women
- Alpha Psi Kappa - Fraternity for self-identified dominant lesbian women[2]
- Beta Phi Omega – Sorority catering to minority feminine lesbians but extending membership to women of any race or orientation[3]
- Theta Xi Theta – Fraternity for dominant lesbian women[5]
- Lambda Delta Lambda - Sorority for self-identified women of any race or sexual orientation [6][7]
- Phi Alpha Nu – Fraternity for dominant lesbian women [9]
- Phi Nu Kappa - Sorority for feminine women of any sexual orientation[10]
Organizations for men
- Alpha Lambda Tau – Defunct fraternity for gay, bisexual, transgender and alternative-lifestyle-friendly males[3][11]
- Alpha Omega Nu - Fraternity for Transmen [12]
- Gamma Lambda Mu – Fraternity originally founded at FIU which merged with Delta Lambda Phi in 2003[3]
- Delta Phi Upsilon – Fraternity for gay, bisexual and progressive men. Most members are men of color.[3]
- Mu Omega Nu - Fraternity for Transmen [14]
- Sigma Phi Beta – Fraternity for gay, straight, bisexual and transgender men which split off from Alpha Lambda Tau (now defunct) in 2003[15]
- Sigma Epsilon Omega - Fraternity for gay, straight, and bisexual men founded at the University of California at Berkeley in 2007.[16]
- Theta Xi Omega - Fraternity for all men whose ideas and vision aligns with the fraternity [17]
NOTE - multiple National fraternities have specific provisions in their non-discrimination policies that are inclusive to gay men but are not exclusively marketed to members of the gay community. Examples of such fraternities include Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Delta Upsilon and Pi Kappa Alpha.
